International Women’s Day 2019

In March, 2019, ArabWIC Kuwait again collaborated as a community partner with GDG&WTM Kuwait City to deliver IWD 2019 along with other main sponsors AlAhli United Bank and Niu collaborative spaces. Different sponsors and partners were part of this event as well.

The event was a success and its schedule included the following activities: computing forum for women in tech in the workforce, a panel discussion by several speakers about the challenges that women face in early stage career, an iOS development workshop by Media phone Plus, cyber security workshop by Deloitte, as well as an I’m remarkable session by Engr. Shorook Saleh and finally a 12 hour hackathon for social good that focused on the following topics; mind stimulation games for the Blind NGO Association and platform for domestic violence in collaboration with Abolish153.
